In the summer there is nothing nicer than a big cold slice of watermelon. Although, if you cut a slice of this watermelon it is not that cold haha.

I got the idea to make this cake from How To Cake It on YouTube. I wanted to make a watermelon cake for so long, but it always looked way to difficult because of the painting on it. But this summer I just wanted to give it a try. I told a friend of mine that I baked and decorated cakes, so she wanted to see and taste it for herself. So this is what I made. She was really impressed and didn’t expect something like this haha.

It was very fun to make, and the painting was actually quite calming to do 😀
