Deze Paastaart heb ik gemaakt voor een vriendin van mij, ze wilde een quarantaine Pasen verjaardagstaart. Dus ja waarom niet?!\u00a0haha<\/span>.\u00a0Since it will (hopefully) only happen once in your life, it needs cake! So\u00a0of course\u00a0I wanted to make it for her <3<\/p>

I asked her how she wanted the cake to taste. And most of the time people don’t\u00a0really\u00a0know what they want or even what options there are. But she\u00a0actually\u00a0knew what she wanted I just had to help her to think in a cake way XD That was\u00a0really\u00a0nice. So I baked a banana cake and\u00a0normally\u00a0I would ice my cakes in\u00a0Swiss\u00a0meringue\u00a0<\/span>botercr\u00e8me<\/span>, but she wanted white chocolate, so I iced it with white chocolate\u00a0<\/span>ganache<\/span>\u00a0instead. And as a filling she wanted vanilla pudding. So I made creme\u00a0<\/span>patissiere<\/span>\u00a0which\u00a0is a sort of vanilla pudding, but a bit sturdier for a cake :<\/span>)<\/span>\u00a0And to make sure it didn’t run out of the cake I piped a border of the chocolate g<\/span>anache<\/span>\u00a0first and\u00a0then\u00a0filled it with the vanilla pudding.<\/span><\/p>

And\u00a0then\u00a0of course\u00a0the cake decorating. I made the bunny and the carrots first. These parts I made with\u00a0modeling\u00a0paste from CakeDutchess (I also used her tools\u00a0which\u00a0are amazing!), I really\u00a0recommend\u00a0this paste if you like\u00a0modeling\u00a0or want to start doing it. It is\u00a0really\u00a0amazing stuff and it tastes nice \ud83d\ude00 After that I\u00a0covered\u00a0my cake with fondant and made the grass details. I thought it would be more fun to make 2\u00a0different\u00a0kleuren<\/span>\u00a0of green so there is a bit more going on in the\u00a0grass\u00a0than just one shade of green. So I made the darker green first and\u00a0then\u00a0took a bit of that and\u00a0added\u00a0it to some white fondant.\u00a0Then\u00a0it was just a matter of rolling it out and cut grass like shapes, I did this with a small wheel cutter, but you can do it with a knife too.\u00a0Then\u00a0I just glued it to the cake, I\u00a0use\u00a0piping gel, just because it is a bit more sticky and I’m sure it won’t come of on\u00a0its\u00a0own. But water will also do. The top grass bit was more\u00a0difficult,\u00a0because\u00a0my wheel cutter wasn’t small enough, so I\u00a0used\u00a0a knife which worked perfectly! Just took a\u00a0little bit<\/span>\u00a0longer. For the dirt I bake some chocolate cookies and just smashed them with a\u00a0rolling pin\u00a0(that was fun\u00a0haha<\/span>). I placed the bunny and the\u00a0carrots\u00a0in first,\u00a0then\u00a0I added the cookie crumbs with a tiny spoon so it would fill in al the nooks and\u00a0crannies. And that was the cake done \ud83d\ude00<\/p>
